The project explores the psychological fluidity of interior spaces as it embodies the personal experience of transitioning between two distinct living environments: the city and the suburbs.
“Blur” encapsulates the ambiguous state of shifting boundaries between the known and the unknown, the comfortable and the uncomfortable. In the concept's tangible form, each room is representative of both spaces through its furniture arrangements. The reflectivity, layering, and moments of translucency symbolize the shifting perceptions of spaces over time, contributing to the disorienting composition.
Much like a painter's expression on a canvas, “Blur” visually communicates the complex emotions experienced. It invites viewers to immerse themselves in the imagery and explore the intricate nuances of a blurred sense of place.
